I finished the Mastiff table runner. Yes, it was a bit of a challenge. The eyes in particular. I do appliqués all the time, but for some reason these were a bit of an issue. Thank goodness I increased the appliqué pattern to 165%. I cannot imagine doing eyes smaller as it was.
This is Lisa my oldest daughter's adorable pup that put in motion this runner.
I moved on to some very simple placemats for our dinner table. I have two done and two more to go, but these two are already on the table. It had been a very long time since I made placemats for myself. Super simple and fast.My youngest daughter has a peeking Tom. The peacocks keep wondering around the house and peeking in the windows. I think they are looking for treats.
Your tablerunner turned out great, and looks just like the pup! I like making placemats, too. It took me awhile to convince my husband they could be used and were washable, though! The peeking peacocks are a hoot!ReplyDelete
Peacock! :) Great table runner - I can see why the eyes were a little tricky.ReplyDelete
you are just the best mom around!!ReplyDelete
Well done!!! You are very talented.ReplyDelete
The runner turned out beautifully, and I really like the placemat colors.ReplyDelete
Love your tablerunner! So cute!ReplyDelete
Hi Donnalee! OMG - the look on the really Mastiff puppy's face is priceless. He is chill, relaxed, and doesn't have a care in the world. Why on earth did you bother him to take a photo?! He obviously had other, more important things to do. LOVE how the runner turned out!! HAHAHAHAHA! A peeking Tom! Yessssssss, what can we help you with??! Thank you for the giggles and for linking up this week. ~smile~ RoseanneReplyDelete
Aw, love the table runner and love that pup. Beautiful and so is that peacock.ReplyDelete
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Wow, that's a beauty, as are all your craftworks! The peacock reminds me of wild ducks that came to our pond and learned to peck on the window for food :)ReplyDelete
It's great to see your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
