A friend at work asked if I could make a runner and mat for her. She wanted sage green, dark red, and sunflower yellow. Found the perfect mix in my stash this weekend. Hope she likes them as much as I do. Just have to finish up the binding on the long runner.
I finally after all the remodeling had time to get away and sew. Love Jenni Baker's idea. Could not resist using it twice. The second time with Kona turquoise solid with her Color Me Retro. Already have a home for it on my entertainment center.
This project is one I started several years ago. Figgy Pudding is the fabric name, and I love it. I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen, dining room, family room, and living room. Walls have come down, tiled floors pulled up, carpet and hall flooring ripped out, they have installed hard wood throughout the new great room and kitchen, and painted. I have had work men in and out of my house for over a week. I have had it! Today I just had to escape and work on something that has better vibes. The quilt is not done yet. It still has a 3 inch blocks border all away around it made from all the different print fabrics. But, I feel like looking at it makes me feel I just might make it through the next week of remodeling in some sort of sane condition.
