I've heard great things about using the Floriani Stitch n Wash that way but haven't tried it yet myself. Have been experimenting with multiple different methods for turned edge appliqué and I haven't landed on the One Perfect Method for me quite yet. I think there are plenty of mothers out there that would LOVE to send their brood over to the neighbors for a bit of a rest. If only! I recognized the chive flowers right away! We don't see them until mid-summer around these parts, and my chives have been frozen out and haven't returned. I'll have to pick some up at the garden center or from someone who has some nearby.
