JUST COULD NOT RESIST ONE LAST JOANN'S SHOPPING SPREE

Our JoAnn's is closing for good on the 17th of this month.  I did make a trip early last month when the closure began and purchased a few pieces of fabric.  Last Friday with them advertising 60% to 80% I decided I would make another trip in and see what was left.  Actually a good deal of fabric was still on the shelves.  Did I need more fabric no, but who could resist that sort of savings.

This unit was the real bargain.  Normally $120 at 60% off right out the door with me for $48.  I do have a wonderful sewing room but there never seems to be enough storage.

They did still require 2 yard cuts, but at 60% off it was pretty hard to resist.  I considered most of them pretty much staple colors that one will find useful, and for some reason despite lots of scissors I am constantly searching for one when I need one.  Of course ran into at least one friend with the same idea I had.  Still a little bit thinking I have a few more days, one could still manage to squeeze in one more shopping trip.

  1. Yeah, this shopping trip paid off! Beautiful fabrics and lovely colors. Love the drawers, they look deep and the top is perfect for more storage too. Pretty scissors colors too!
Thank you for sharing and enjoy your next shopping trip ;)

  3. It's so sad that JoAnn's is closing. You did well on the bargain front.

  4. You found some wonderful bargains. The closest Joann's is about 80 miles away and I just haven't been that direction on days when I actually had time to stop. I was there about 6 weeks ago and there was a lot of fabric but the line to cut fabric was too long to even think about it. :-)

  6. A wonderful visit to Joann's. Hubby loves going there too. I don't have a crafty bone in my body. I'm glad he does.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

  7. You purchase some great fabric and storage at a nice discount. When I went to my local Joann's a couple of weeks ago there was little to be found.

  8. I've resisted so far, but seeing your haul makes me wonder if it isn't worth a try! Every time I go by ours, though, the parking lot looks packed! I imagine that it's been well picked over by now!

  9. Glad you made it in; I just haven't been to JoAnn's in so long and I really wanted to get in one last time but I think I've missed my chance.

  13. Great deals! When I went to Joann's a couple weeks ago, they had very little fabric left. The one closest to me closes 5/31.

  15. What treasures you managed to find! The cart is perfect for storage, one can never have too many scissors (I have that same set and am happy with them) and your fabrics are fabulous! Two yard cuts gives you something to work with! Good luck with your To Do List. Thanks for linking up, sharing the photos of your treasures and I hope you’ve had a wonderful creative week! 😁
